Sheet mulching is a technique for adding nutrients into the soil and at the same time killing grass and weeds without using chemicals (weed killers) or commercial fertilizers. It's like building a lasagne - 1 layer of compost, water, 1 layer of cardboard, water, 1 layer of compost, water, finish off with a layer of mulch and water well. Bake in the oven for 2 months and it's ready for planting. We are expecting to plant in October!

Final layer of mulch finished!
