Angels’ Attic

The Angel’s Attic is an all-volunteer thrift shop that has been serving the Novato community for over 20 years.  Located in the building behind the church, it encompasses 2 rooms with its own entrance.  The Attic is usually open Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 3:00, except holidays.  We put our sign board on the SW corner of fifth and Grant whenever we are open. The Attic sells recycled house wares, collectibles, toys, books, pictures, jewelry, small appliances and (very) small furniture.  Donations come from the congregation, our customers, the adjoining preschool, neighbors and the community at large!  We accept donations in the shop whenever we are open.  We do not sell clothes. In the spirit of St. Francis who gave up his worldly belongings and is the patron saint of animals, we are advocates of sustainable living and seek to honor the earth.  The Angel’s Attic is a local resource for us to reduce, reuse, and recycle!  The mission of the St. Francis Church Angel’s Attic is to:

• Honor the earth by promoting conscious consumption:   reduce, reuse, recycle
• Serve our community with low cost goods in a warm and welcoming shop staffed by volunteers
• Work with other not for profits, sharing the Attic resources for good causes
• Raise money to support St. Francis Church’s outreach and community service
